The travel powerhouse Expedia is partnering with Voceio, LLC to offer resort guests, a more informative and engaging stay with the assistance of Alfred, a virtual hospitality assistant (VHA). Voceio’s Alfred enhances a guest’s experience by answering questions about resort services, recommendations, local community offerings and how to acquire local attraction tickets.
Interactions with Alfred are natural and easy. Guests simply ask questions on their room’s device or text using their mobile phones (English or Spanish), whether you’re on-property, or…anywhere. Requests are captured instantly and routed directly to the appropriate Staff member, unlike traditional methods. Through this partnership, hotel guests will have 24-hour access to information about on-property experiences such as pool hours or restaurant discounts, access to services when you need more towels or pillows, even Expedia services to purchase tickets for local entertainment/activity venues.
